I hope that helps with some of the questions floating around out there. We tried to get some variance in the price...to help all those in need. Feel free to do a search on www.hotels.com to see about other hotels. There are a ZILLION on Dixie Highway (or 933) all right within 4 miles of campus (Those Notre Dame home games, ya know). I would just make sure and stick to the national chains...or the Inn at St. Mary's. There are some junk hotels with names I haven't heard of that leave a bit to be desired.

We loved this place...and really checked around, but found this place to be price comparable to the other facilities. The bonus is, when you book with these folks, you have the place to yourself for the day. No sharing staff, no other parties going on before, after or during. AND it is right off Blackthorn Golf course, some of you know of this place (I, for one, will likely never golf there...it would take me two days to finish the course).

You can click on the menu and see some of their options. We are having a slightly smaller version of their buffet. It is to include:

• Tossed Garden Salad with House Dressing (served at the table)
• Chinese Noodles with Julienne Chicken, Ham and Toasted Walnuts
• Fettuccini Alfredo
• Sauteed Corn with Sweet Peppers
• Grilled Breast of Chicken with a Champagne Beurre Blanc.
• Carved Prime Rib with Au Jus and Horseradish
• Fresh Baked Breads and Whipped Butter

Yummy...I cannot wait!!
