Finally!

We are finally (knock on wood) getting healthy around here.  I beat my sinus/ear infection, then Abby beat her double ear infection.  Next up was Loren's stomach flu, then my intestinal flu, then NATE's stomach flu.  THANK God Abby missed that one.  I think her poor body was still fighing off the ear infection.  I think we deserve a few months of healthy!
Since we are starting to get better, we have been able to do some Mom group things and the kids are really enjoying it!  I actually belong to two Mom's Groups.  For those of you who are Stay At Home Mom's, you NEED to find one of these.  I just wish I found them sooner!  Mother's and More is a national Mother's group that has a lot of good support networks online and in the community.  Stroller Fit Friends is a free group, made up mostly of Stroller Fit mommies, but others may join as well.  Between the two groups, there is almost always something to do in a given day.  I feel like the kids are loving it because they get to play with kids close to their age, being a SAHM, that never happened before these groups.  I feel like I am finding a lot of support from other SAHM's that deal with the day to day issues that drive me CRAZY!  NOT that I am complaining, I love staying at home, but somedays...LOL!
I think we are actually going to see 60 around here this week, of couse, it will probably rain, but at least it will be starting to feel a little like Spring!  I have crocus' coming up!  And a few tulips are making the journey already as well!  Bring on Spring!
Both kids have had their Birthday parties, and I just cannot believe how time is flying.  Nate is 4 now!  And let's you know it in every way he can!  He actually sat in the chair all by HIMSELF today to get a hair cut, there a first time for everything!  Last time, we got through the haircut with no screaming, this time, he didn't have to sit on my lap!  I was so proud of him!
Abby on the other hand, is in ALL of her TWONESS right now.  She is getting so picky with her eating, and trying so hard to show her independence.  She and Nate do actually play together from time to time, but more often than not, are fighting.  ~sigh~ I guess I have YEARS of that to look forward to!

Here is a pic of the two of them at a party this weekend!  We went to a new friend's house for their youngest's First Birthday Party.  Abby and Nate had so much fun!  Of course, being this was a sports themed birthday party, the host had helmets and a football to pose with for pics, do you think my kids did that?  Noooooo...
