You can find the Valentine here: Fish Valentine 2012
I am having so much fun with this! For Nate's Valentines:
- I created a file that had 6 valentine per page slightly different than Sara B.
- I then printed them on white cardstock.
- I colored in the fish and seaweed with stamping markers.
- I then cut out each valentine and secured it to a slightly larger piece of colored cardstock.
- Since I couldn't find individual packets of Swedish Fish, I discovered some gummy fish in bulk at Meijer, I bought a few to make a "test" Valentine.
- For the test Valentine, I packed about 6 or so different colored fish and secured the Valentine to the packet :)
- And there you have it, the finished look for the Fishy Valentines for Nate's PreK class! I will wait until the night before the package up the rest! I have however, printed out the Valentines and will color them as I have a chance and back them with cardstock. That way, assembly won't be as time consuming!
If you haven't checked out Pinterest and you consider yourself a crafty, or a wanna-be crafty person, you may want to wait for a day when you have nothing to do. Once you log on, you'll be on it for hours, and then days!!! Be aware though, this site is not yet public, so if you want to "join", you'll need to ask to be "allowed in". You can also have someone who is already "in" invite you and then you will be instantly connected via your email address.
However, please don't say I didn't warn you ;)
